As you explore Kavala from the sea, you witness this storey unfolding in softer light: ancient fortifications, colourful houses on the hillside, and the gentle rhythm of a harbour that continues to breathe maritime life even as the season turns.
Relax on deck and enjoy the calmness of autumn on the Aegean. The fishing boats sway peacefully in the marina, and the coastline reveals landmarks that tell the tale of a city shaped by the sea. Your private sailing tour begins at the marina in the Port of Kavala. As the yacht sets sail, admire the amphitheatrical Old Town rising above the water, while learning about the city’s rich past and enjoying the crisp, refreshing autumn air.
Cruise east along the rocky shoreline beneath the Old Town — a spot still loved by locals for swimming and diving on warmer autumn days. Continue towards iconic landmarks such as Kamares (the Aqueduct), the historic wooden fishing‑boat shipyard, and the Broken Bridge, each framed beautifully by the softer seasonal light.
Turning west, glide past the Fish Auction House Port, the Courthouse of Kavala, the Lucy Hotel, and Kalamitsa Beach — quieter now, with a more relaxed local vibe. While sea tempreture is still high we may drop anchor at Batis Beach for few minutes stop. Depending on the weather, guests may enjoy a refreshing dip, or simply relax on deck and take in the peaceful autumn scenery.
Subject to availability, the itinerary can be adjusted upon request to include additional exploration of the peaceful autumn gulf of Kavala and/or fishing activities (rod, line, sabiki, spearfishing) in the rich local waters. These optional experiences are offered at an additional cost of €90 per extra hour.
