Start your journey by being picked up from your hotel and head towards Khao Rang Hill which is one of Phuket’s most famous viewpoints. Located to the northwest of the city centre, its summit offers panoramic views over the town and the south of the island.

Continue down, by driving to Phuket Old Town which was built in the last century, when metal was an extremely valuable commodity. In this quarter of the town, you will see grandiose Sino-colonial mansions, in Phuket's 100-year-old tin barons.

Further on you will to Thalang Road Street Market with all the best goods that the Old Town has to offer. Local Snacks, Art pieces, and all kinds of souvenirs can be found along your journey on that Street. Much of the Old Town, especially Thalang Road still has the old shophouses built like in the old days. The scent in that street can't leave you indifferent as the wafting aromas of Phuket's oldest Herbs Shop leap your senses as you stroll along Thalang Road, The Herb Shop opened in 1917 and has remained a magical place over the years.

Craving ginseng or perhaps dried insects, you can stop here to stock up on Chinese herbal remedies or simply watch portions of herbs being mixed together ready for sale at this generations-old family business.
