See the Whitsunday hinterland the way locals do, on a relaxed four hour sightseeing bus tour from Airlie Beach. Your first stop is Whitsunday Gold Coffee Plantation, one of only two or three working coffee farms on Australia's entire east coast. Walk the grounds, hear how the beans are grown and roasted in a tropical climate, and taste the result.

From there, travel to Colour Me Crazy an eclectic store made famous by its bright and wild homewares and jewellery. At Conway Beach, where the rainforest meets the Coral Sea, your guide shares a turtle habitat talk, a highlight for families and curious travellers of all ages.

Lunch is a step back in time at George's Diner, a retro 1950s diner at Conway Beach, known for its burgers, fish and chips and old fashioned milkshakes, (own expense). Your local guide brings the region's history, wildlife and laid back coastal lifestyle to life throughout the day, and is consistently the most talked about part of the tour in guest reviews.

This small group, eco certified tour suits couples, families and cruise ship guests alike, runs rain or shine, and involves minimal walking. Airlie Adventure Tours was named a Best of Queensland Gold Award winner in 2026.
