43 people on the tour , treated like cattle and squeezed from one place to another . There were over six buses packed full of people doing the exact same thing at the exact same time . Our guide told us he was a historian. I think he was a great historian but a terrible tour guide . At one point someone had to call out that he had left someone in the coffee shop . The bus was leaving the car park ,and the bus driver had to slam on the breaks . The guide didn’t even know there was someone missing . He never once waited for the group to catch up with him and we listened through an earpiece to him talking in broken English , the static from the earpiece was intense and his heavy breathing as he walked up the hill was sometimes to much to listen to . There was so much people on this tour I could hardly find my guide and he never once waited for the group to catch up . I did not enjoy my trip at all . Delphi was a magical place to visit but we only had around 25 minutes free time

Demetrius was our tour guide to Delphi. He was knowledgeable and informative. It takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours to get to Delphi from Athens and maybe a little less coming back so the time you actually spend there is not very long. On our way there, he gave us a history lesson on Delphi and Athens, which, in my opinion, was a little long. Once you arrive and he concludes his portion of the tour, you have approximately 35 minutes to do your picture-taking and walking around before meeting him at the museum. Delphi had some sights to see like the temple of Apollo, a stadium, an odeon, and a couple of treasury houses. It is located on the slope of a mountain so the views are beautiful. He gave us an audio box and earphone to listen to him but sometimes it was difficult to hear him and the signal would give out as well. The museum is small but interesting. We didn't purchase the lunch with the tour.
