Why not enjoy a sumo show while eating chanko-nabe sumo stew at Asakusa Sumo Club! After enjoying our speciality “chanko” in the seating area with a view of the real sumo ring, you will watch a sumo show with former sumo wrestlers and student wrestlers.

Those who wish to take up the challenge can dress up in a sumo costume and challenge a former sumo wrestler!

[About our chanko]

• The best part of chanko is the attention to detail that goes into each and every ingredient. The chanko is a “special soya sauce chanko-nabe” supervised by a former sumo wrestler, chankoban, and is a combination of four types of soup stock: jidori chicken, bonito, kombu, and shiitake mushrooms!
• After meal, enjoy a sumo show with former sumo wrestlers and student wrestlers. Demonstration of sumo wrestling (basic movements, demonstration of bouts, etc.) We will introduce the rudiments of sumo, such as “shiko” and “matawari”, and then move on to the clincher moves of sumo, which will be shown in action.
• Those who wish to challenge can challenge a former sumo wrestler! You can challenge in a Sumo wrestler's costume.
• Commemorative photo shoot as a memory of your trip Enjoy a memorable photo shoot in the sumo ring.
