To think this was one of the most dangerous barrios in the world, and then to walk through freely with my phone out, absorbing the history, was a big win in my book. It has some stunning views of the city at certain points and a lot of art. It also helped that our guide was super hilarious

Really an excellent tour and the area is phenomenol. I don't want to knock and please do it by a local, his story was very interesting. However my feedback is it's too filled with Fluff, the Tour started at 4.30 but we waited and didn't do anything till 4.50 (shared by other reviews). Than once we got started we went into a back room of a store to discuss the history (which was interesting) for another 20 mins but there was so many spots on the tour we could have received that info and continue to see the lovely community. My recommendation is to shortern the tour and just get into it! However in saying that it was really cool!

I don’t think I would have enjoyed this experience without Nancy’s stories about comuna 13. She truly knows her way around the neighborhood and its history.

Franklin our guide was amazing. Very knowledgeable having grew up in Communa 13. He was fun and made the entire thing a great experience.

This was a great experience. It's so much more than just graffiti. Franklin, our guide gave us the history and his own experiences of growing up in comuna 13. Don't miss out on this experience.

Camilo was a great guide. I didn’t know what to expect going into this tour, but was really glad we did it. The art and dance were beautiful. C13 can be an intimidating place to walk around if you don’t know it; after the tour we felt much more comfortable and had a much greater appreciation for the area and its history. Would absolutely recommend this tour.
