We had a great time on this tour. Our guide IIona was wonderful, helpful and very passionate about Romania. She provided us with a lot of insight into the culture and history of Romania. We loved the visit to the beautiful town of Braslov. It was stunning, especially with the Xmas markets when we visited. There are plenty of places to eat or drink in the town square. Ilona stayed with us and gave us a guided tour of Peles castle which was appreciated by all. One slight improvement I would suggest is giving a little more time at Dracula's castle Maybe an additional 30 minutes, so that people can read the information boards in each of the rooms. The order of stops on our day was Dracula's castle first, then Braslov and then Peles Castle. I think order should be adopted for all tours going forward. This is because the return back to Bucharest is then less than 2 hours. Overall would recommend this tour to anyone thinking of going.

Trip to Transylvania. Got to visit the two castles which I enjoyed but there was only a short time allowance. The skip the queue ticket still involved a queue so that also ate into the allowed time. At Peles the toilets were closed so we had to use the only one available at the cafe a walk away. I was 10 minutes late to the coach (having texted the couier) and 5 others were after me but the drive made sure I knew he was unhappy with me. The earphones are good but didnt always know when the couier was going to speak so people were missing instructions and those instruments were not always clear. Meet at drop off in one car park ment the bus would be at the back and out of sight so people were on time but in the wrong place. Not the best trip I've experienced but lots to see which i would have otherwise although completed at pace.
