The guide Tara was great! She made the whole experience without a doubt. She was knowledgeable, fun, personable and I commend her for being able to do this job. I could never. However when I went to buy the excursion tickets, the description was rather misleading. My co-worker went on a different glacier cruise, and although this one was interesting and much shorter, I expected to travel to a boat and do the sight seeing from the boat. Not the vehicle on the way to the boat. I had access to a vehicle in anchorage and I could have done this on my own for a fraction of the cost which was extremely disappointing. Oh well.
