We had an amazing experience. Andrea was an absolute gem – incredibly knowledgeable about the local flora around Etna and full of enthusiasm. He explained everything about the lava, geology, and volcanic history in a way that was both fascinating and easy to understand. The wine tasting at Murgo winery was the cherry on top – a truly top-tier experience with excellent wines and beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended :-)

Great tour seeing craters on Etna. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Wine tasting was great in beautiful surroundings. We were picked up from our accommodation promptly. Only downside was we waited for another group for around 45 minutes in an Etna village where would have been better to go straight there. Overall a great way to see Etna and taste local wines. The food during the wine tasting was delicious but not really a full lunch which may be a way to improve in future but for what we paid can't complain.

An excellent tour. The Etna tour was superbly guided by Janet. She is knowledgeable about history and the natural environment and the group size (8 adults in comfortable minibus) ensured that duration of the fascinating walk was comfortable for everyone. The tour of a lava cave was an extra unexpected bonus to am appreciative group. The wine tasting at Murgo was exceptionally hospitable. in other countries, wine farms give you at most a couple of biscuits, if anything. Murgo's tasting platter (ham, salami, mortadella, 3 cheeses, olives, frittata, bread basket, etc) was almost a complete gourmet meal. The 5 wines tasted confirmed that this is one of Sicily's best wineries. Our guide Giuseppe was also a gold mine of information and generous with his advice on the best non-tourist trap gastronomic destinations. Altogether this tour is highly recommended!

We had a great day with Marco. He was so informative about the volcano and the surrounding area. One of the best stops was at the volcanic caves. And then of course we went to the winery. Our host, Antonio, put on a lovely light lunch with local food and shared some beautiful wines from his family winery. This was one of our most enjoyable tours (we did 13 of them). One note though: maybe let people know that it is very cold up the side of the volcano - we were not prepared!!
