Discover the stunning Rainbow Mountain on an unforgettable guided hike
Your experience begins with hotel pickup from the historic centre of Cusco between 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. You will travel by tourist transport for approximately 2 hours դեպի the south of Cusco, reaching the district of Cusipata, in the community of Tintinco.

Upon arrival, you will enjoy breakfast to recharge your energy, and you will also have the opportunity to purchase water and snacks for the hike.

After breakfast, we will continue the journey for about 1 additional hour to the starting point of the hike, located at 4,850 metres above sea level. From there, we will begin a hike of approximately 3.5 km, lasting around 2 hours, across both flat and uphill terrain.

During the hike, you will admire spectacular views of the Andes and observe local wildlife such as alpacas, llamas, and vicuñas in their natural habitat.

Upon reaching the summit of Rainbow Mountain (5,010 m), you will have free time to rest, listen to a brief explanation from the guide, take photos, and enjoy the incredible panoramic views, weather permitting.

Afterwards, we will descend along the same route for approximately 1 hour back to the starting point, where our transport will be waiting to take us back to Cusipata.

There, you will enjoy a buffet lunch before returning to Cusco. Arrival is expected between 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., ending near the Plaza de Armas or Plaza Regocijo.

Important:
This is a group tour, so it is important to follow the guide’s schedule and return to the transport together with the rest of the group.
