Know before you book

  • Children 11 and younger are not allowed. / minimum 2 adults required for this activity to take place.
  • Please be ready and waiting in your hotel lobby 15 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time. / Estimated times: Summer +- 06:45 / Winter +- 07:30
  • Hotel pickup is available from most centrally located Cape Town hotels. Please arrange pickup from your hotel or a nearby location when you call to confirm your reservation.

What you can expect

Explore the world-famous Table Mountain by foot and witness extraordinary sights of nature during this guided hike. As you climb to the top of the mountain for breathtaking vistas of the region, learn about Cape Town culture and local flora from your guide.

Get picked up from your hotel and transfer to the base of Table Mountain. An experienced guide leads you on your hike to the summit, offering various routes for different fitness levels. As you make your way through the flourishing nature of the mountain, learn about Cape Town history and the flora of the area, including the fynbos shrubs distinct to the Cape Peninsula.

Upon reaching the top of Table Mountain, pause to catch your breath, then spend time admiring the amazing view. From the summit, you can see nearly all of Cape Town stretching out towards the coast and the horizon in the distance. Take your time marvelling at the panoramic vista before heading back down to the base, either by cable car or on foot.
