Icescape Ice Rink Rules

• Wristbands Required – All skaters must buy a wristband and wear it.
• Wear Proper Gear – Socks, gloves, and properly worn skates are required to enter the rink.
• Return Rentals – Please return rental skates to the counter after use.
• No Rough Play – No running, pushing, or rough behaviour.
• No Sticks or Pucks – Stick or puck play is only allowed on the ice.
• No Food/Drinks on Ice – Keep all food and drinks off the ice.
• No Pets – Animals are not allowed anywhere on the premises.
• No Smoking – Smoking is prohibited on the rink and surrounding areas.
• Skate Safely – Dangerous skating, speeding, or weaving is not allowed.
• No Games – No tag or group games on or off the ice.
• Max Two Together – Only up to two people may skate together.
• Skates Only on Ice – No walking on ice without skates unless authorised.
• Keep Moving – Skaters must stay in motion while on the ice.
• No Carrying Items or People – Don’t carry others or items like bags, phones, or cameras while skating.
• No Unauthorised Coaching – Only approved coaches may instruct on-site.
• Stay Off Barriers – Don’t lean, sit, or place items on the rink walls.
• Keep Exits Clear – Emergency exits must stay unobstructed.
• Leave for Resurfacing – Everyone must exit the ice during resurfacing.
• No Throwing Snow or Objects – Keep snow and objects off the ice.
• No Harness Use – Figure skating harnesses are not allowed during public sessions, unless approved.
• Follow Staff Instructions – Rink crew decisions are final. Management may ask anyone to leave without refund if rules are broken.
• Not Responsible for Lost Items – Icescape is not liable for lost or stolen belongings.
• No Speed Skates – Speed skates are not allowed, except for authorised use.
