What you can expect

The “Welcome Tour” takes you on a walk through the historic old town and the centre of Innsbruck. We start on Maria Theresien Straße, Innsbruck's baroque boulevard, now a pedestrian zone and promenade. In the old town we explore the narrow streets of the medieval city and deal with the lives of Innsbruck's citizens then and now. We span the spectrum from the beginning of history to the present. Architecture, city life, history and geography, art and culture. Many topics accompany us on our path.
On this approximately 1-hour tour, you will be looked after by professional, state-certified tour guides - Austria Guides - who will be happy to answer your individual questions and always have a few tips for you so that you can enjoy the city of Innsbruck to the fullest.
The meeting point is the Innsbruck Information counter hall in the centre, at Burggraben 3. Please report to your guide 10 minutes before the start of the tour at the table marked with the “city tour” sign for the WELCOME tour.
