This is a tour designed for travellers, who seek to step further than most and feel like real explorers. Combine ice cave visit with an adventurous glacier hike, as you venture deep into the glacier hidden from the crowds. You will also visit the popular ice caves, but at less crowded time.

The tour starts with a 40 min 4x4 ride to the glacier. First we visit an ice cave and spend one hour exploring it. We always try to visit the best cave available, but the choice may vary throughout the winter. This year the most beautiful cave is called Sparkle Ice Cave. However there might come conditions when entering it would be too hazardous. You can be sure that we will inform you if the conditions change.

After the ice cave visit we will gear up for the glacier hike. Expect to spend up to 3 hours hiking. If the weather is good we will should see stunning sites, such as ice canyons, calving site, crevasses and moulins. You will come back feeling like an accomplished explorer!
