What you can expect

Upon your arrival to Tribhuwan International Airport, you will be met by your tour representative before being transferred to hotel. The following day, you will fly to Lukla (2,850 metres) before trekking to Phakding (2,640 metres 4-5 hours). Your trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 metres will take between 6-7 hours).

Your 4th day will consist of rest and acclimatisation at the Namche Bazaar, where you will enjoy a 2 to 3-hour excursion. On day 5 you will trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870 metres) over the space of 5-6 hrs. Day 6 will involve you trekking from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410 metres) for 5-6 hours once more.

You will continue to acclimatise further at Dingboche on day 7, before trekking from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940 metres) on day 8. On day 9, trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170 metres) and hike to Everest Base Camp (5,364 metres) before returning back to Gorak Shep. On day 10 you will hike to Kalapathar (5,545 metres) from where you will trek to Pheriche (4,371 metres). You will continue to descend for the next 3 days, before arriving back in Kathmandu on day 13 where you will spend a final evening before your departure the next day.
