What you can expect

Visit the second biggest town in Khayelitsha. Learn the deep history of the area at Lookout Hill with complete panoramic views the town. Then once you feel established ride around the informal settlement to the new community garden. On the way you will visit the Spinach King, Green Bakery for breakfast.

Then after lunch visit the 18 Gangster Museum, and learn about the reformed gang issues that once surrounded the area. Walking the area you will be able to engage with locals and community projects, connecting one on one with people from the township on the topic of change.

Ride in a township taxi, it might be intimidating, but some locals may come along for the journey. Finally the last stop is a highly recommended Braai Meat shop. This local hotspot will not disappoint, known as the best in Rands Cape Town. So come along and learn about the strength in community on this ride around town.
