Opened in 2010, the Krakow Underground Museum on the Market Square is a kind of archaeological park, where you can observe images from the life of a large, bustling medieval city recreated with the help of modern technologies and artefacts found there.
The residence of Polish kings at Wawel is not only a symbol of statehood, the castle has also become one of the most important museums in Poland. It collects rich collections of paintings, graphics, sculptures, fabrics, goldsmiths, militaria, porcelain and furniture, and great Poles are still buried in the basement of the royal cathedral.

Know before you book
