Owakudani is a famous volcanic relic in Hakone, Japan, formed by a volcanic eruption about 3,000 years ago. Oshino Hakkai is a collection of eight natural spring pools located in Oshino Village, Yamanashi Prefecture. They are formed by melting snow from Mount Fuji after decades of filtration and are known as the "Jiuzhaigou of Japan". Each of the eight spring pools has its own characteristics, and the water temperature is maintained at around 13°C all year round. Visitors can taste the clear spring water that can be drunk directly.
