What you can expect

Experience a sail along New York City's skyline aboard a lovingly restored classic sailboat! Narwhal Yacht Charters offers intimate private charters for up to 6 people on a Tayana 37, a seaworthy vessel designed to cross oceans.

This year (2025) marks Captain Eric's 14th professional sailing season on New York Harbour, where he has safely logged over 60,000 incident free nautical miles since pursuing his dream to take people sailing for a living a decade ago!

Each sail is customisable but a typical 2 hour sail includes sailing down the Hudson River from Chelsea Piers (passing Lower Manhattan) to get as close to the Statue of Liberty as possible. Some customers prefer to sail underneath the Brooklyn Bridge rather than sailing near the Statue of Liberty. Sweeping landscape views include landmarks such as One World Trade Centre (the Freedom Tower), the Empire State Building, Hudson Yards, Ellis Island, Governors Island, Brooklyn, Jersey City, and the Brooklyn, Manhattan and Verrazano Bridges.

Waters, soft drinks, and ice are included. Bring your own food and alcohol to personalise the experience. Convenient located at Chelsea Piers (Pier 59) in Manhattan.
