We will see: - The Royal Palace (outside)is one of the city'smost imposing and famous landmarks. - Plebiscito Square the largest square in the city. - The New Castle called "Maschio Angioino"(outside) An imposing castle built in 1279 by Charles I of Anjou was the Royal seat and cultural centre. - St. Charles Opera House (outside) the first lyric theatre in Europe and one of the most important in Italy. - Umberto I Gallery

After that we walk through the famous Spanish Quarter to reach the "Old Naples".

Once we arrive in the Historic Centre of Naples, walk on via San Biagio dei Librai, known to Neapolitan people as Spaccanapoli-that literally means "break Naples in two ".It was the high street during the Ancient Greek and Roman times.

We will reach Saint Gregory Street flanked by workshops where the local artists manufacture the famous Nativities/Crèches and see Saint Lawrence Church.
