What you can expect

  • A richly historical town on the River Thames, our Windsor is charming and captivating, whichever way you look! From being the home of the Royals, to our eclectic architecture, there’s something for everyone to discover in our idyllic town.
Take Windsor at your own pace, spend quality time with a local and get your bearings on your very own private tour of Windsor. This experience combines a guided walking tour of Windsor with expert historical insight into Windsor Castle before you enter, so when you go inside, everything you see has context, stories, and meaning.

Your guide will bring Windsor to life with tales of kings, queens, scandals, ceremonies, and centuries of royal drama, while showing you the town’s most important sights. Outside the castle, you’ll get a full introduction to its history, architecture, and the Royal Family’s connection to it today.

At the end of the tour, your guide will take you directly to the entrance, and assist you in entering the castle with your tickets (included in this tour price!) allowing you to explore the State Apartments, St George’s Chapel, and more at your own pace.

    Discover:

    • Windsor Guildhall
    • Eton College
    • River Thames
    • Thames Street
    • The Crooked House
