Begin your day at a local sake brewery in Okayama. Meet Kamo, a sake brewer born and raised in Okayama, and step inside the world of sake production. Unlike typical visitor experiences, you’ll spend time with a brewer who works on-site and can share insights and answer questions in English.

Enter real production spaces rather than just the visitor corridor and see how sake is made up close. Discover the brewing process and the craftsmanship behind Japan’s traditional drink.

Afterwards, relax at the brewery restaurant and enjoy a tasting of 3 small beers, 2 sakes, and 2 whiskies, each offering different aromas and flavours.

Later, continue the evening at a local izakaya near Okayama Station.

Kamo is also a certified sake sommelier. Taste three different types of sake with small food pairings and explore the flavours of sake while hearing stories from someone who works in the brewery.
