Know before you book

  • The Sydney Harbour BridgeMuseum is located in the South-East Pylon of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
  • Please plan to arrive within 30 minutes after your scheduled entry time. We recommend arriving as close to your scheduled entry time as possible as entry after your booking window is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
  • Entry to the museum is via the Sydney Harbour Bridge pedestrian footpath. Visitors walk along an external footpath to reach the entrance.
  • There are 200 stairs throughout the experience, from the entry level up through the exhibition spaces to the SkyHouse and back down again.
  • Wheelchair and lift access are not available inside the Pylon.
  • To help you enjoy the BridgeMuseum in your preferred language, we offer a translation app available on the day of your visit. You can access translated content in Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, German, and French using your own smartphone.

A Day Session ticket to the BridgeMuseum offers a rich, self guided introduction to the people, engineering, and moments that shaped the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Step inside the Sydney Harbour Bridge and uncover its storey from the inside out.
