What you can expect

  • Disconnect from the everyday and dive into a true wilderness experience. This 4-day, 3-night kayak expedition into Igarapé do Ubim and Amanã Lake is a fast, immersive way to see the Amazon up close. Paddle through glassy lagoons, winding blackwater creeks, and flooded várzea forest, guided by local experts who know the river like family.

Enjoy an authentic immersion as you paddle remote channels few travellers visit and camp riverside under the stars. Keep an eye out for wildlife, with high chances to spot macaws, toucans, monkeys, herons, river dolphins, and night‑active caimans.

Meet riverine families, taste regional cuisine, and learn traditional skills. Travel with eco‑aware practices that support local communities and protect fragile habitats.

Paddle daily for 3–6 hours with regular breaks. Go on guided jungle hikes, swim in the river (seasonal), fish, and visit local communities. Camp riverside in hammocks with mosquito nets or stay in simple local lodging. Enjoy hearty Amazonian meals included.

Follow a flexible itinerary that adapts to water levels and weather to maximise wildlife viewing and safety. Stay safe with life jackets, experienced local guides, and first‑aid equipment provided.
