Pros: The bus ride was great - A/C and comfy. We were lucky and there were no lines at Chichen Itza which allowed for an immersive experience without the hassle of crowds. The guides were not only knowledgeable but also entertaining, enriching the tour with insightful commentary and anecdotes. The Cenote stop was refreshing and added a unique dimension to the trip. The buffet was simple yet delicious food, with the tacos stealing the spotlight - even my picky son declared them the highlight of the trip. Cons: Be prepared for a long, long day. We got picked up on time at 650am but coupled with unforeseen delays due to a slight accident/traffic we were not back to our hotel until almost 9:30 pm. Also Chichen Itza has scorching temperatures so pack a hat! Tip: Ensure you bring some pesos with you. You’ll need for extra cash for water, drinks, snacks (especially churros) and tipping wait staff, and

They call it one of the new seven wonders of the world for a reason. Chichen Itza was incredible to see in person. We were extremely lucky to have Samuel as your guide. He was full of knowledge and passion about each of the sites we visited and was able to give us valuable inside information regarding food and shopping. If there was any downfall, it would be that we would have liked to have had more time to spend at the archaeological site, but given the distance between Cancun and Chichen Itza, it’s more than understandable. Truly a great experience. Try the churros in Valladolid!

Really enjoyed all the stops, especially the cenote swim. Very organized excursion and guides were knowledgeable and funny. Only thing to beware is that it’s a LONG day. Chichenitza is 3 hours away from Playa Del Carmen so be prepared to spend half the day on the bus travelling.

Sergio and his team did an outstanding job explaining everything! The sights were spectacular, the food was good in the service was great! My only complaint would be the bus had a very strong smell of urine coming from the bathroom and the air vent in the middle of the bus was very dirty… but other than that all was awesome!

They did not show up at the pick up spot. We waited and waited Would never recommend and will make sure all family and friends NEVER use Expedia. Customer service was terrible. They sold a scam tour through Cancun Travel Experience for the Ultimate Chichén-Itzá Experience with Cenote and Valladolid. WARNING YOU WILL BE SCAMMED AND OUT ANY MONEY BECAUSE THEY DO NOT SHOW UP TO PICK YOU UP. THEY ONLY CLAIM THEY WERE THERE AND PROVIDE NO PROOF. We were early and waited and waited. EXPEDIA DOES NOT VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS AND DID NOTHING TO HELP RESOLVE THE SCAM. I will send out as many warnings and feedbacks as I can so no one can else gets scammed.
