    Leave Curitiba in the morning and travel to the park, about 56 miles (90 km), to admire a landscape shaped by volcanic activity, glaciation, and erosion. Marvel at goblet-shaped rock formations, lagoons, and furnas—craters created by collapsed sandstone that fill with water.

    The tour continues with a visit to the Witmarsum Colony with a delicious typical German lunch. The village is full of family stores that sell colonial products produced in the region, such as cheese, salami and biscuits.
