「Very smart and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. parking was great. It's a bit of a walk into Whitby mostly because (like the whole area) it is a bit hilly. It is walkable though or just a short car / taxi / bus ride. I would happilly recommend. Parking is okay in Whitby but will cost up to £10 for the day.」

「What a nice stay in a beautiful and historical abbey! The hostel is on top of a small hill but situated next to the tourist spot. Around the hostel you could easily find some spots overlooking Whitby. We picked a 6-female dorm but it's very spacious. The room is very clean and comfy with individual light and plug on each bed.The kitchen and self-catering facilities are clean and big as well. The showers are difficult to set to the right heat and are affected by other people using water. A bit of modernisation would help.
