Comfortable staying
Place is really cozy and safe, location is great, not to mention great city view from the room. Like their gym especially, very clean and neat. Great service from the counter. Staying here is a good option even though you travel alone.

Hotel is located in the center which is walking distance to the metro and tram is easily accessible. Staff is helpful given my room wasn’t ready when I arrived at 4pm and he helped to identify another room that’s reserved for another customer at the same room type I booked as hotel was fully booked. Yet, I think hotel housekeeping should ensure rooms are ready by 4pm which is way passed the official check in time. As for the room, I discovered the toiletries is opened and wasn’t replaced at the toilet. AC isn’t strong enough even when I turned to the lowest. Have shared these feedback at the time when I checked out for hotel staff to look into it as I only stayed for a night and didn’t have time to reflect that during my stay.

The hotel was ok. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable and it was super hot. They need fans in the room or more air circulation. Location was great and it was clean. The bathtub is a death trap. All of us almost fell getting in and out of them.

I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel right on Dam Square, and I can't recommend it enough! Its central location made it incredibly easy to walk to all the major tourist attractions, which was a major convenience. Property was fine , rooms were clean and comfortable and hotel staff very pleasant. The hotel staff only informed us upon arrival that an event was happening outside the hotel on our only full day in Amsterdam and we would not be able to leave or enter the hotel for 6 hrs which was a huge shock and ultimately spoiled that day as we had to change the plans we had. I feel guests should be compensated for this as once we arrived at the hotel there was little choice other than to put up with this.

Pros: -Very clean -Large/modern rooms with wall to wall window and a view of the area -Centralized location -We were able to check in 2 hours early Cons: -Very noisy INSIDE of the hotel. Our room was located off of a random set of stairs that was used by the staff so multiple times per hour, 24 hours per day, the staff would stomp up/down the stairs and slam the very heavy adjacent door as they entered/exited the room, which shook the walls and door to our room. It was impossible to get any quiet time at any hour. -Even though we displayed the "Do Not Disturb" sign, staff still entered the room for some reason, and left a water bottle in an obscure location (we did not ask for water or for any type of service).

The hotel staff were amazing from start to finish. Welcoming and helpful. We went with my son and daughter in law to celebrate their 30th. The staff arranged cake, champagne, decorated room and went over and beyond their care. I fell on cobble stones so daily had help with ice packs and the restaurant attached to hotel were amazing too especially you you lad, barman who was so lovely. The staff were simply all amazing the hotel so central too. Perfect!

The location of this hotel is incredible, and the reception staff are extremely friendly. They provided a lot of information regarding places to visit in Amsterdam. The room was huge, incredibly clean and comfortable. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Awesome hotel, perfect location for a first time visit to Amsterdam. Walking distance to museums, Anne Frank house, canals, train station, trams, metro stops. Lovely staff. Breakfast was good-It was included in our package. We were upgraded to city view. Great people watching. Even though it was busy outside, no issues with noise at all. Bottled water included. The bathroom was very nice, but the tub was not easily accessible. No grab bars for safety and very deep tub. Even my teen had trouble getting in and out. Definitely recommend! If we ever visit Amsterdam again, I would stay here again.
