Great hotel on the edge of Andermatt. The room was excellent - very comfortable and clean. Large, well lit bathroom was a bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The wall to the main village was a long go around, but that could be because of construction.

Love everything about this hotel - room, facilities, breakfast, staff. I highly recommend this hotel to tourists visiting the beautiful town of Andermatt.

Property itself was nice and new. Room was low on amenities (in room coffee not refilled for the next day, bedding was not provided for the second bed even when it was obvious that it was being used). Area around hotel had significant construction going on. There was no hotel parking left when we arrived because there was a concert happening at or near the hotel. Overall it was totally fine, but we felt like we paid plenty for the room at ~$550 a night and it just wasn't quite up to the service standard we have come to expect from a premium hotel. The ski lockers were incredible, and it is very convenient to the gondola!

Skandinavisk design.
Stort fräscht nytt hotell. Bra frukost. Stor pool, litet Spa. Liten buss som går två gånger i timmen till liftarna, går dock att promenera ca 600 m till närmaste liften. Till Gemstock är man dock hänvisad till den överfyllda bussen.

We had pre-announced that we need non allergenic pillows and blankets. At arrival there were none. We asked reception and house keepers several times. But they said they had none. Next day I spoke with house keeper manager and she immediately helped me and also told me this was nonsense. The effect was that I had a severe asthmatic reaction the first night, despite windows wide open and my first day (out of 3) completely ruined.
I talked to the receptionist couple of times about it. What did they offer; 2 drinks in the bar. I am speechless. This hotel had ambitions but great guests like this and don’t even have a routine to make up for mistakes like this.
