「My partner and I stayed with our senior black lab mix over 4th of July weekend. We were looking for a quiet secluded spot for our doggo who hates fireworks and did not disappoint! The house is new with modern amenities. The outer perimeter was still being worked on so mostly loose soil/clay surrounds the house but wooded area surrounds the house providing privacy. It is a 10 min drive to town and a couple of nice dog walking trails - Antigo lake park and Springbrook trail.The only drawback was...

「It was unique and an interesting piece of history. Views from the deck were fantastic. However, outside area around the plane could have been trimmed. Firepit was a mess and no desire to use it because it was in bad shape, not inviting. The dock was spongy and too small for two people to fish off of. Some of this may be due to recent rains. From looking at the pictures we thought the firepit and dock were closer to the plane. The bathroom floor was painted and peeling. Luckily we had shower...

「We really enjoyed our stay. Although we could see houses on the lake, there were none directly next to us. Property was clean and gas fireplace was an added bonus. Nice screened in porch for viewing the lake and backyard. Lots of panfish to catch from the dock or provided rowboat. A great place to relax and unwind.」

「Loved all the amenities available in the house from life jackets to toys, games, and movies. We really appreciated all the options for sleeping arrangements Property didn’t have a/c but owner said it was a mistake and will be correcting it on VRBO site and other than first night we didn’t need it. Be prepared to pack out your own garbage and dump is open on limited days, that was my only complaint. Otherwise our family had a terrific time at Pappas and will definitely return. 」

「Our family of 6 (including our kids and their grandparents) had a wonderful 5-day stay at the cabin. The location is perfect with a lot of privacy and access to the lake. The cabin was spacious, extremely well stocked, and had everything that we needed. Communication with Wes was excellent - he provided all information that we needed about the property and gave some great local tips about the area. We definitely hope to return in the future.」
