「We wanted a place not too far from home just to unwind and relax. Adorable clean little cottage. Close to so many things - yet you feel like you are out far away. Beautiful land and pond that we walked several times with our dogs. Hosts were so kind and informative. We definitely will be back again to this little hidden gem!」

「It was a great place for our group to gather to watch the eclipse, and then visit with each other afterwards. Very historic house with potential to be even more grand if renovations continue. The gazebo is nice. The yard would be even better with a garden or flowering trees. We enjoyed exploring the house. So much room!」

「Very nice cabin secluded back in the woods. Tons of room inside with lots of bedrooms, large living room and game room. Plenty of area outside for activities. Nice fire pit area and hot tub off the deck. Close enough to Brookville if you need supplies but still feels like you’re miles away from civilization! Recommend!」

「After you park you enter a little Oasis right in town. This place is stunning! Beds and couches are comfortable! Listening to the tiny waterfall in this wonderful backyard setting is a must! 「What a wonderful home. My family stayed here for the weekend of the total Solar Eclipse in April 2024. The hosts were spectacularly welcoming and helpful to us throughout our stay. The house is ideal for a relaxing, fun getaway. We enjoyed the game room, watched a movie, cooked, hung out in the back yard, listened to music, had a fire, enjoyed the hot tub, and just had a fantastic time. Highly recommend!」

「Lindsey was a wonderful host. We stayed there for our daughter's graduation from Miami Ohio. It was clean and very comfortable. We are considering coming back just to hang out. It was so peaceful. Everything about the cabin was perfect. A bit far from our daughter's school, but we were able to get paid transportation there and back when needed.」

「The property is amazing. Pictures do not do the gardens justice. The visiting horse and friendly cats were a plus. The pool is cloudy and needs more frequent cleaning than the weekly service due to its location under trees. The outdoor furniture also needs cleaning as do the dishes in the house. But you will hardly notice because the gardens are so well maintained and the hot tub works amazing.」

「We had a great time! The house was perfect with plenty of room. We went into Cincinnati 2 days and down to the Ark Encourter a different day. All easy drives from here. We also explored the surrounding small towns. Hoping to come back during the summer when Metamora, IN is open for full business. It was such a cute place. We also enjoyed a night at Ainsley's Cafe. Highly recommend!」

「My daughter and I arrived around 11:00 pm. It was, of course, dark outside. Curtis, the agent checking us in was so nice and welcoming after a long drive. When he gave us our room keys he said that he was going to give me ten minutes to check in and then call to make sure the room was up to my standards. I knew he was calling to ensure that the mother and daughter made it to their room without incident. I’ve never had a hotel take that extra step to ensure my safety. 」
