Because I live for many days, I hope every day can be replaced with new slippers, because the hotel sometimes updated sometimes not updated. In addition, the room's safe is not fixed, it is a bit dangerous (because it may make people move away)

I have stayed at Mandarina in Colombo twice in two years and the place is awesome. The staff were friendly and helpful. I arrived just past midnight and the checkin took less than 5 minutes. The breakfast buffet was excellent. I certainly will stay there again. SJ, New Zealand.

I called the hotel ahead of my vist that I need transport to the airport. They said it would be arranged when I check in. When I checked in, they said the hotel transport is no longer available. They however arranged an expensive taxi. I asked them if driver takes credit card and they said yes, I asked again the following morning before leaving and they confirmed. The driver at airport said he doesn't have any credit card facility! It was a big hassle arrangin cash at the airport. Check was ok but the person at check in was not friendly. There was no drink offered at check in. The food at the restaurant was ok. I’ve never seen such low quality 5 star hotel.

What I liked the most was the fact there was an extra little room with a single bed, tv and separate aircon. Also bottles of water given when requested as we drank so much water. Was a little dissapointed that I could not order ala carte breakfast before 10 am. The counter that sells food items should be open early.

Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel, Großstadhotel mit einer Baustelle gegenüber, die aber nicht weiter stört ganz im Gegenteil wahnsinnig interessant zu beobachten ist. Im Großstadthotel halte ich mich in Regel aber nicht auf, um Erholungsurlaub zu machen, sondern um die Stadt zu ergründen bzw. ein Meeting oder eine Veranstaltung zu besuchen. Das Einzige was zu beachten ist, das Mardarina Colombo ist ein Halalhotel. Das heißt, wenn ich von Großstadttrip zurück kommen kann ich hier kein kühles Bier, einen Wein zum Dinner oder einen alkoholischen Cocktail trinken. Das Hotel ist Super sauber, das Essen sehr gut!

For the money you pay the food os not the best. They made me wait 30min infront of my door because the wireless card entry did not work. They had to come and change the batteries for the sensors and then we have to wait for someone from IT to come reprogram the door so that the card would work. All this can be avoided if they do their proper maintenance.

Great place to stay
Very convenient location, friendly service, nice spacious rooms. Gym is bit small and poolside was not too conducive for lounging as it is too near the restaurant. But overall, great value for a nice place and would book again.

Short trip before heading elsewhere in Sri Lanka. Very comfortable bed, large room size, very adequate amenities. Good location. Would recommend this place.

Good hotel. Very comfortable beds and pillows, large rooms in a good area of colombo. Pool is really nice and during our stay nearly always empty. The hotel is dry, ie no alcohol, which might not be a problem but we stayed there on new years eve. It should say this in the hotel information, also no mention or knowledge of vip access scheme so no upgrade, refused discount on food/drink etc.

All the staff including the front desk to the restaurant/ room service were friendly. The hotel was clean and welcoming. Dinner ordered from the restaurant was reasonably priced and was delicious. If you prefer less spicy please inform when placing order. Because some of the dishes that I ordered were very spicy. Overall my stay was enjoyable.
