「We had issue with our original property. However, it was esybto communicate with the staff and they promptly moved us to a different property which is even much more better than the previous. Staff were courteous and responded to our needs promptly. Its been less than a few days we moved out. Hence, i am awaiting a refund of the deposit paid. Otherwise, i appreciate the service provided.」

Probably best to start with the fact we didn’t end up staying here, not because we didn’t want to but because firstly we couldn’t find it, the address provided didn’t match the postcode, eventually found the road but no Alexander Apartment? Tried mobile number on booking which was out if service - never received any details on how to get in (even if we’d have found it!) hotels.com we’re next to useless, also couldn’t contact the property nor could they book us anywhere near...

「Property needed a deep clean. I sneezed a lot and had black dust come out of my nose. Heating didn’t work sometimes and the room was quite cold. 「The Hen House cottage was a great place to stay for our trip in the Durham area. The village of Brandon is a beautiful location for going for walks in the countryside and with a great pub/ restaurant called the Bay Horse Inn on 50m away it’s a perfect place to stay. 「First time in Newbiggin and enjoyed it, the town has plenty of resources- a corner shop just round the corner and pubs, takeaways, cafes and a couple of restaurants, a small craft ale bar too. 「Great location and views to die for. Parking a bit tight but lovely neighbours who were happy to move cars around.
