Brand new hotel. I am impressed by this and another Melia Hotel we strayed at during our family vacation in Spain. The staff at the Granada Melia were just a bit less friendly than the one in Barcelona.

The staff at check in was friendly, however he stopped attending to us while checking us in to resolve some other issues of people who asked him to do small things. It made me feel less important than the people who came after me to ask the staff to do some things for them. Check in staff could have asked those other clients to wait for a few minutes to finish our check in. It’s a matter of respect. Check in staff upset one client (myself and my party) while pleasing other two clients who were in line behind me. I did not say anything to him because I thought it would prolong the check in process with the discussion, but better training from the supervisor would be in order.

Melia Granada was a great hotel! First, I would classify it as a "luxury" hotel for the area with a great staff and really clean rooms. Secondly, they offer very good amenities including excellent breakfast and room service. Lastly, they have parking right next door so you don't have to drag your suitcases for blocks once you park your car. I definitely recommend Melia Granada.

Very nice hotel with all amenities. We were greeted at the door by a bellman who unloaded our suitcases and brought them up to our room while we parked in the on-site parking lot. We only stayed one night but were very happy with the accommodations.

Only stayed here one night but enjoyed our visit. We had two connecting rooms which worked well for our family (parents and 2 daughters in their 20s). Hotel is conveniently located - walked to everything. Really enjoyed exploring the streets/shops of Granada and touring the Alhambra. Definitely worth the visit and overnight stay to see sunset over Alhambra.
