Dear Bob, I would like to extend my sincere apologies for the unexpected issues you encountered. Alike other five star hotels in the city, we have to abide by local regulations on submitting information of our guests to local police department every single day. Because your safety is a matter of our concern, all accommodated guests are requested to register at check in for security control. We do not keep guests’ passports but return after scanning. Unfortunately I cannot elaborate on your comments in this case after checking with my team and CCTV system, no passport was seen to be kept. I would like to extend my sincere apologies for the unexpected noise issue. We finished the renovation at Opera Wing and do not expect the noise to continue much longer as that of Heritage Wing will be completed early next year. Next time please do not hesitate to contact our team for further support as we will be more than happy to accommodate your request. Our Executive Housekeeper also took note on the fumigation and will work with his team to further improve our service’s delivery.
