「The cottage is in a quiet area just outside the main town and well situated for us to attend a funeral service at the Crematorium a short drive away. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. The free WiFi was very handy as reception isn't great in the area. The single beds however are probably more suited to kids than adults but was ok for 2 nights. The bath/shower needs updating. The showerhead is very old & inefficient. My elder aunt did not feel confident to stand in the old bathtub so...

「Nice house, but in landscaped so front was really muddy and dirty, no driveway, front lawn etc. be prepared to get dirty! Good value for house that size though and inside was great albeit with no A/C. We stayed one night on the way north, wouldn’t stay more than that.」

「As an overnight stay on your way through it's a really good option. The rooms are a good size, the bed was very comfortable and the WiFi was good, although the bathroom was tiny but it does the job. It's also lovely in the morning to wake up right on the river and there are lots of picnic tables to sit at. There is also a Chinese restaurant onsite. The one staff member we dealt with wasn't particularly friendly but far from a deal breaker. Would happily stay here again on the way through.」
