「The property and the staff was wonderful. The only issue was we had reserved a cabin with the a loft and we ended up with a two bedroom cabin instead. Asked about being moved, but the cabin was booked. We never understood how we ended up in the cabin without the loft when that was what we had reserved. Other than that, we loved everything about Baker Creek was fabulous.」

「Quiet place to get away from it all. No TV, internet is spotty (which keeps you off of it) and trails to walk to the river and look for wildlife. We were there in March 2024 and the snow was melting, the temp was 15 degrees C and the sun was out. I would go again.」

「This was my second stay at Chancellor Peak. We stayed in chalet #14 which is private with an amazing view of the Peak and the surrounding nature. The chalet complex is located right at the Kootenay River. The area is very quiet and there are bears as well. A black bear came looking for food around the chalets a couple of nights. Overall a great place to stay and good value.」
