The beach access is not really doable as it is about 150 stairs. Hot tub jets not functional, and cant really see the ocean as it seems in picture. Tub was dirty in the room and soap was open. Kind staff!

This is the kind of place you go when you don’t have other options and you just want to stay on the beach. There was a surprise upcharge for us for having pets that was not mentioned during the booking; this made the cheap rate no longer cheap. The room was pretty horrible. The vinyl floor was peeling, the paint and wood were swollen and chipping from dampness and there was a corresponding musty smell, there was a hair wad under the sink, the vents were grimy and rusty, a layer of dust along the baseboards, and there were no screens in the windows so if you want to air out the room, you get to welcome in the spiders. The bed was decently comfortable and the sheets were clean. The view was amazing and the window was nice and large. But there were no outdoor sitting areas to enjoy the view from so we had to stick to the icky room. The beach access is just okay. It’s nice that it was there but it was a long and extremely steep stairwell, which didn’t invite going down more than once. The pool and hot tub functioned, but just like everything else in the motel, they were in sad disrepair. The staff were just ok. They weren’t overtly rude but they certainly weren’t trying to win any customer service awards. There was a general air of annoyance and suspicion. Overall, if you have ANY time to do planning, I would not choose this motel. We won’t be staying there again.
