Staff was excellent! Room was fine. Sliding Shower door would slide open if I hadn’t used a facecloth to wedge it shut. I informed the front desk of this issue. Would stay again. Good breakfast.

Overall hotel is really good staff was very nice, friendly, helpful. The only issue we had and it very well could be us not use to it. When we first checked into our room it had a very heavy smell of bleach that lasted well into the evening. Would we stay here again, YES.

Very friendly staff nice stay
The hotel room had trash left it in the corner under the desk. An empty water bottle is left on the side of the bed next to the wall that my husband stepped on in the middle night. Good thing they did not cut him or anything. I spoke this stephanie in the morning at the desk. She was very pleasant and understanding. I hope they add a point to my award as she actually promised. But overall our stay was very nice everybody was very nice to us and friendly.

Bait and switch
Checked in, given a room and we walked in on another guest. They had no idea the room was already occupied. Got us another room, but smaller and not what we expected. We chose them since they were pretty friendly even though the price was asking the highest in the area. Next day i am driving and someone calls asking for a credit card for an additional $75 pet fee. They then blamed Hotels.com for not disclosing the extra fee. I did this was not my fault that it is something they need to take up with Hotels.com since they chose to use them to advertise their hotel. I was then told that i better call back by 1pm with payment info. I said that the owner can call me so s we can discuss.

Hello Mr. Will,I assure you there is no "bait and switch" going on at my hotel. The pet fee is 75 and the front desk was not aware that you had a pet. The room still has a very bad dog odor and can't be rented. Thank you for staying and be safe and well. Wanda Haden GM

First I’ll give you all the positives. I booked online and it was less expensive doing it that way. Check in was easy staff very nice. Room was clean, sheets clean, good water pressure, plenty of hot water, fridge and microwave in the room. Front desk girl very nice and informative! Negative and this was big for us! When I called hotel the 1st time and mentioned we had a dog the gentleman said absolutely nothing about a pet fee nor does it state anything about one online BUT when we checked in we got blasted with a $75?non-refunanle pet fee. This fee is extreme and it put us way over budget. My husband is furious. I went down and spoke to the front desk girl and she said she could do absolutely nothing about it. Absolutely no consideration or a way to make this right except her apology. I asked her if she could waive all or even partial off our rate. Wouldn’t even consider talking to her supervisor when I suggested it. Now we are in a poor mood!

The staff was super and checkin was also. The hormone was well used. The air conditioner made wired noises when cycling on and off. Also the bed was hard. That’s fine for some but not me.

Poor plumbing in rooms. Had to switch rooms after the toilet quit working and ended up having similar issues in the new room. Response of staff to the issue was limited and disappointing. Milk at breakfast was spoiled. I doing recommend leaving on the counter in ice for hours.

Just "ok"
The lady at the front desk when checking in wasn't rude, but wasnt overly kind and welcoming either. The coffee station was out of the little cardboard holders that go around the coffee cup to keep the hot cup from burning your hand, and there were a couple in the hotel room, but there was dirt on them. The bathroom toilet roll holder was missing from the bathroom. The room seemed relatively clean, no bugs or anything. The room did not have a microwave or fridge, which we were expecting, as most Hampton Inns have one in the rooms. The lady at the front desk during check out said she hoped that would happen whenever they update the hotel. We didnt stay for breakfast, as we were just ready to get out of there. There was a note at the front desk saying the WiFi was knocked out during a recent storm. When going down the elevator, you couldn't push the 1st floor button until the doors were already closed and you had sat in the closed elevator for a moment. This wasnt the worst hotel we have ever stayed at, but the visit was just "ok".

My only complaint was check-in. We had driven several hours and we were ready to check-in (which was supposed to be at 3:00) I was asked to come back at 4:00 because my room was not ready. Every thing else was very nice. Room was clean, comfortable bed. Friendly staff.

Just an overnight stay, but our room was out of shampoo (luckily we had some packed) but when I mentioned this as I checked out, the person at the desk didn’t seem too concerned.

Location right off the interstate was great, the staff was good/friendly. The breakfast was so good. Very comfortable bed. The pillows not so much, very small not king or standard size it seemed, more like the size of a child's pillow. The room was clean but very out dated. Had blocks under the air/heat that was a out dated air conditioner wall unit that was leaking and had the carpet soaked around it the next morning. Which was reported at checkout to staff. The bathroom sink also had blocks under it as well. We have stayed at other locations of Hampton hotels several times but this location was disappointing for the price paid. Outside of property was very clean and no doubt looks like all Hampton Hotels should. Lobby area very nice and clean. However, after stepping off the elevator on the 2nd floor was a different story. Carpet and walls had very noticeable stains all the way to our room, which was almost at the end of the hallway!! Definitely would not book with this location again!

A very worn out property. We checked in and the key card on our room door was not working. Every time we needed access to our hotel room over a three day stay we had to wait for a key from the front desk and to be let in. Extremely inconvenient. I was promised a discount on the first nights stay due to this inconvenience and never got it. Also, on the second day of our stay, we requested housekeeping to freshen our room with clean towels. We left for sightseeing and returned six hours later to our room that had not been serviced. Our bathroom had black mold in it in two places, and the bedding did not fit the king size bed. As a Hilton property I expected better. I will return to Marriott properties after this experience.

Disappointed in Hampton
First off the staff was absolutely amazing, friendly and helpful....but the hotel left alot to be desired. The first room we were in, the shower didnt work well, the room was dirty, toilet paper holder falling off the wall. We did get moved to a better room, but there were bugs on top of the a/c, the shower head was pulled away from the wall, not the cleanest room ive been in, the beds were uncomfortable, but the staff was great. We have stayed in many Hamptons but this was the worst.
