「Beautiful room and view, very nice staff, nice pool, private beach with shark net, super clean. Free and easy parking, kitchen well appointed, beds super comfy. Only downside was the disco 2-3 times per week at the hotel next door that goes until 4am (yes you read that right). We moved rooms to escape the noise (we had to pay XPF 5000 per night for the pleasure) and we could still hear the thumping of the music. 」

「I love the view. Lemon bay is right in front of the hotel. And you can just wear your swim wear and enjoy the beach. Please book the shuttle bus service by yourself. As if you book it through Expedia or through the hotel. It will be expensive. The room is nice, there is a small balcony, and there are much space for me to put my big luggage. It only takes you to walk about 15 mins to the pier to the Duck island and 20 mins walk to Anse vata. Therefore, please walk!」

「We asked the front desk staff to book a taxi to the ferry and he booked a private car and the price is three time higher than taxi. When I ask why it is so expensive. He replied that they charged by person. I have never booked a car which charged you by person in the world. As a world- known hotel, such a thing could never happen.」

「Unfortunately our stay at this hotel was during the New Caledonia civil riots. In the circumstances, the management and staff did their very best to keep us safe and provided what little food was available for the breakfasts, which were paid in advance. The room, 1 bedroom suite, was comfortable although the decor was tired. Some refurbishment is overdue.」

「Very peaceful. Friendly couple. Lady speaks English. Off the beaten track. Last bit 1.5 km dirt road and very steep entrance path. Use 1st gear to get up. Hard to find. No signage on entrance to dirt road.」
