「I had to walk 15 minutes from the bus but the area is so beautiful and peaceful I didn't mind. Staff very polite and helpful. Rooms and public areas clean. In general I love this place and if I'll be again in Peterborough I will certainly book a room here again. 」

「Everything is superb from the standard and ambience of all the rooms ,many with views to die for , to superb cuisine served by properly trained pleasant staff.」

「Hotel was great central location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was good size and clean. Bathroom was looking a bit tired but clean. Room was roasting hot, with no way to turn radiator down or control heat. No local information available in room. Would’ve been useful to have menu for room service. 」

「Great place to stay , love this building and beautiful village with bridge and waterways , it our second time here , so the first time it hadn’t been refurbished like second time so even better than before , it not far from historic Stamford , plenty of shops,bars and restaurants , nene Bally railway just up the road , but lovely villages surrounding this hotel , will be back in a couple of years as I feel you can’t go wrong , nice experience 」

「An absolutely amazing nights stay, the bed was incredibly comfy and we slept like a log. The staff were very attentive, one slight criticism was they need more staff as when we went to the bar we were waiting for quite a while to be attended to. Their sister bar restaurant down the road we left after 20 minutes, the waiter took my drink order while my wife was choosing, 20 minutes later and nothing. So sadly they lost out on our food and drinks order.」

「Ideal location for attending a local event over the Bank Holiday weekend. All staff were polite and helpful. The only minor comment is that the room was not serviced for the whole 3 days we were there. Had to request for clean cups ,tea and milk. Extractor Fan in bathroom did not work .」

「The owner has to do the school run but leave her number on the door so you don’t have to wait long. She is really professional, polite and welcoming. Room was comfy and quite with a fridge and microwave in room which is a bonus for longer stays. No parking but a car park is situated 2 mins away and £6.10 for 24hrs is a good rate. Also paid by phone so you don’t have to worry about tickets on dashboard. Excellent Chinese takeaway a few doors down very reasonably priced. Didn’t try the...
