It seems that, during your recent two overnight stay, no mention about your disappointment was reported to any member of the Staff, nor at the Reception, neither at the Yachting Bar. It is a shame as we would have loved to listen your suggestions and find toghether a solution.The Excelsior, as shown in many pictures, is a symbol of classic style, reinforced by our forniture that are original antiques, carefully chosen worldwide. In these last years, many project have been realized, the latest has been the new seaview gym. Many others are on the way and will be revealed very soon!The second pool will be opening along with the Beach Club on June and that area, closed to the pubblic, is now under preparation for the summer season.As for the breakfast, we are sorry to read it did not meet your expectations as we offer, among other things: many different kinds of cakes, brioches and cereals; 9 different kinds of jams, cheese, cold cuts, different types of yoghurt and 5 different types of eggs.Thanking you for your kind attention, we assure you of our personal assistance at all times and we send you our regards from the Portofino Coast.Aldo Werdin General Manager

Comments and suggestions are very precious to us in order to constantly improve our standards of service and to better understand our Clients’ needs: we already shared your remarks and we will do our best to improve. We are sorry to read your comments, and we do take this occasion to highlight that in these last years many renovations took place to improve and enlarge our services...on January 04th, for example, we inaugurated the new sea view Gym, while on January 30th we inaugurated our Banqueting room with its new antique and precious parquet. The construction you mention, probably refers to one of our staircase which was due to an unforeseen circumstance and solved into two days. In the period of your stay, besides the new gym, treatments at the SPA were available, as well as the outdoor heated pool. In early February, in accordance to the local regultaions, the AC is not operating. As soon as you reported your remarks, we switched off the heating. No further hioghlights were reported, nor during your stay neither upon check out.Remaining at your disposal for any further need and send our best regards. Aldo Werdin General Manager
