Great place. Everything was as advertised. We were a few steps from the pool and a short walk to the beach. Beautiful sunrises from the deck. The bed is comfy. The appliances worked. The place was clean. We'll definitely recommend to friends and family.

Birthday Getaway
This lovely condo was exactly what we hoped for to celebrate and unwind. The view was amazing and the sunrises spectacular - we spent a lot of our time in, on the screened balcony. Great location too - convenient to Hunting Island treasures, not to mention points of interest on all the islands.

Beach walk
We very much enjoyed our stay at Harbor Island. Close walk to the ocean, rea staurants nearby ( especially Johnsons Travern,) and the State Park. The condo was nicely decorated, clean, comfortable and we enjoyed a beautiful sunrise from the balcony every morning. I will say the building itself could use some TLC, but I did notice some work being done. We may well return, we love the area. LorraineKnight Gerald Nelson.

Great condo
Condo was well furnished, clean, and the view was nice. I just needed it for 2 nights, so I didn’t get a chance to fully enjoy the place, and a longer stay would have been nicer there. Check in was easy, and communication with host was great. I’d love to come back and stay here again.

Perfect little getaway spot!
My friend and I (and my little Morkie) enjoyed our stay so incredibly much. It's nice to stay in a space and realize you want to come back to the exact same location because you wouldn't change a thing. We hope to visit again before summer.

Great Condo Close to the Beach
This unit was just perfect for my wife and I on an extra-long weekend. The unit was clean- full stop - which makes it easy to relax in a rental unit. The kitchen and baths have been updated and in very good condition. The appliances were fairly new and in excellent condition. The small screen porch had a nice view out to the water and the boardwalks make great - easy access to the beach. In a nice well-maintained community and the security folks at the gate were very pleasant. Look forward to returning.

This was our first trip to Harbor Island and to say we are in love is an understatement. The area is SO beautiful and an ecological lovers paradise. Jen and David were WONDERFUL hosts. Their place is one of my favorites EVER and we can't wait to come back. Everything was clean and we were provided with all the things we needed to have a memorable experience. The community is so friendly and quiet, Barbara does a great job cleaning, and beach access is literally steps away. Great location for so many places..we visited SavannahGA, Hilton Head, Beaufort, and Hunting Island State Park. We ate lunch out and breakfast and dinner in. I also loved that they provide a pass to the state park... brilliant! We enjoyed the salt marsh so much..ever changing! We loved the ecology of the area...i saw five different bird species together as I sat by the ocean one day!! More turtle nests than I have ever seen in my life and the cleanest beach I've ever been to...i collected only two pieces of trash the whole week!! The ocean is rather calm and when the tide is out ...it's like two football fields away and very mucky but there are treasures that lie there too. We are ready to book this place for next year!! Thank you SO much for a wonderful stay!! ❤️

Perfect birthday trip
We surprised our 11 year old with a trip to the beach for his birthday. The condo was perfect for our small family and our pup. Well stocked with the most comfortable pillows I’ve ever used. Everyone was so friendly, the ocean is perfect for families with children who are not strong swimmers. The pools are amazing. We are already planning our next trip!

Staycation
This was the perfect spot for a quick getaway, and would be for a longer stay as well. Very cute and clean one bedroom within short walking distance of two pools and the beach. The owner was extremely responsive and friendly. We didn’t use the Hunting Island passes, but the beach on property was perfect. We are looking forward to returning.

So disappointed
My husband was so excited to go on our first vac. In 9 years. My hisband has parkinsons and he has been longing to see Hunting island because that is were we camped always before he was diagnosed. We asked our daughter and grandson to go with us because we thought that we would need help. We drove up to our unit but we could not find the elevator. We asked a renter and she said the only elevator was at the top of 9 stairs. My husband uses a small electric scooter. He can not walk anymore, he can only take a few steps. As our daughter and I were discussing that we may have to go back home or find a hotel my husband crawled up 2 steps. We all grabed him and basically lifted him up the stairs and a nice man carried his scooter. In the condo, he could not get his scooter through the bathroom doors. The bed was too high and the couch pullout was a nightmare. We rolled up the dining room rug because I kept tripping on it. My husband and I did not leave the room until the day we left. This condo was advertised as handicap accessible. ♿️ This trip was so upsetting that it has taken me a month to write this review. This was very crewel to advertise this as handicapped.

We are just learning of your rental accessibility needs now, from this review - we had no idea your husband relied on a scooter or your needed ADA accommodations. I just reviewed our listing and I do not see where we have it as wheelchair ♿️ accessible, we certainly know that it is not and would never purposefully misinform our guests. Had you called, emailed me or communicated with me in anyway, prior to booking your stay, to confirm the building and our condo would work for your very specific needs, I would have advised you that our condo was not a good fit for you. As having the correct accommodations are important when you have a person with movement limitations, may I suggest that when you book accommodations on-line again, you use the tools (email, phone, text) to CONFIRM the unit will fit your husbands needs/scooter prior to booking.

Convenient to Beaufort and Hunting Island State Park.
Enjoyed the property. It is very quite. Convenient location to pool and beach. The only issue was my guest was driving a second vehicle. My granddaughter was arriving on Monday instead of Friday when I checked in. I had requested a pass for her when making my reservation on line. The gate wanted to charge me $15.00 a day extra for her to obtain a pass. Explained to them that I had requested a pass when making my reservation. Finally, I was able to obtain it without charge. The condo is a nice place. It it very convenient. Enjoyed my stay. Would rent again.

This condo had a beatiful view and nicely updated. Everthing was clean and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. We were able to bring our dog and my elderly mother appreciated the elevator.

Quiet week before school ends
Great location, perfect for visiting Hunting Island and Beaufort. Condo is 30 secs from the pool and beach access, couldn’t be better. Bed and pillows were great, slept fantastically.

Wonderful Anniversary Trip!
Loved this condo! Plenty of room and everything you need. The balcony had a wonderful view with just a quick walk to the beach! The Beaufort area is amazing with so much to do. Hunting Island state park was my favorite. The bone yard is not to be missed.

Great peaceful getaway!
The owners were easy to communicate with and had a very cozy and nicely located condo with an ocean view. It’s a very relaxing and quiet neighborhood. The only thing I wish we had known was that a grocery store isn’t very close by but no big deal. We will certainly return again and enjoyed our stay!

Just what I needed
This was the place I chose to be near Hunting Island State Park seeking connection and closure following my husband’s passing. HISP was our favorite park of all between Maine and Key West. The peace of this place was welcome after going to the park to revisit wonderful memories before sending them into the Light. This was just what I needed. Thank you.

Low Country fun!
We had a one night stay at Ocean marsh as we headed north on I-95, and loved every minute of our short stay! If you are looking for a cozy place out of the hustle & bustle of the city, or maybe just tired or hotels, this is the place for you. It is "near enough" to shops, restaurants, etc. We had our 2 little dogs with us and the property was perfect for them! My only suggestion would be to add bigger towels, and at least an extra set. The neighbors were very friendly and helpful. :D We will be back!

Perfect location and only steps from the beach. We come to harbor island every summer and this is by far the nicest rental yet. We were also so excited to have our fur baby tag along with us. Everything was exactly as advertised. Will definitely keep this rental in mind for future stays.

Serenity with a view!
I booked more at the last minute than ahead of time. Jen was fabulous about communication and didn’t flinch about the dog. The beach was just over the dunes and the dogs loved it, the state park was a short ride down the road and we pretty much sat on the porch listening to the ocean other than that! The condo was well decorated, well supplied and incredibly clean. Thanks for an amazing time!

hunting island vacation
This condo was a wonderful place to stay with my family and dog while visiting hunting island state park. It was beautifully decorated, clean and the porch made for some gorgeous sunrises over the beach. The bed was comfortable. There were boardwalks to take you to the beach and the property had many amenities like tennis, 3 pools, playground, dog park and a fitness center. The hunting island state park pass was a great addition to the property.

We had a very pleasant stay on Harbor Island. The unit was clean, bright, and cheery, done in soothing ocean colors. The view from the porch is lovely. We enjoyed morning coffee and evening cocktails watching the ever changing tides. Easy beach access practically at the doorstep. The charming city of Beaufort is a quick drive and Hunting Island with its beautiful beaches and trails is next door. A pass for Hunting Island was provided with the unit. We brought bikes and explored this charming community one day. Very dog friendly and so many great walking opportunities for us and our four legged companion. It was a great stay and we had a lovely week.

Great experience
We had a wonderful low key relaxing week. The pools are clean and fun. The complex is convenient with a small shop, food trucks, planned events and a dog park! The condo was very clean and had a lot of kitchen supplies. I suggest bringing more towels as only 3 were provided for the week and only one kitchen towel. Other than limited towels, everything else was wonderful. We will be back!

Great for dogs!
Beautiful condo! We had everything we needed plus some. The unit itself is farther from the beach than we like (which we assumed it was based on patio pictures), but still nice. Everything was very clean. The walls weren't paper thin, which was wonderful since we traveled with our 2 dogs. It was a wonderful trip.
