「The house was very clean and nicely decorated. I was particularly pleased with the beds. They were very comfortable. There was everything we needed although bath mats for the showers would be nice. I was a little surprised that there wasn’t any soap for the showers, something we have found in other VRBO rentals. The host Roger, was very helpful and responded to my questions very quickly. Thanks for that Roger.」

「Very quite place way back from noise and business of city life. We were very busy with what we were doing but the campground around us looked peaceful. The cabin seemed newly built and had new furnishings. The only thing that was missing was a normal sized shower. The shower was very tiny and for the money it was overpriced. Other than that it was a good deal. 」

「This is great house, just a short drive away from downtown. Very well kept for its age and equipped with everything you need for a stay in Charleston. Just note: the second bathroom/shower is located on the main floor and very small. We didn’t have too much trouble parking our vehicles despite their size, but it could get tight with more than 2.」

「Alan's place is clean and comfortable. We were there for the Vandalia festival at the Capitol and we were within walking distance. Downtown is less than 2 miles and we had great meals. We also brought the motorcycle and took a few beautiful rides in the mountains.」

「The apartment was nice. But the kitchen needed more supplies. No baking sheets for our pizza. No mittens or towels or wash clothes for the kitchen. The towels were new and still had the plastic pieces that held the tags. The mattress needs replacing. Not a single picture on the walls. Needs to few more cozy.」

「This was a perfect stay for a quick overnight on a long cross-country move --but I can see why other guests have loved it for longer stays, too. 「At the beginning it was rough checking in for technical reasons and Andrew & his team did a great job helping us through it! They were extremely patient & made sure everything was taken care of at the end of the night. We enjoyed the space we stayed in.
