「This is a little gem located close to the cruise terminal. Very comfortable with a very friendly staff, and the food is pretty darn good too.」

「As soon as we artived the owner met us and took us ti our topm. Explained the entry procedure. The room was quite basic but clean and comfortable and more than acceptable for the price of the accomodation. The only slight doenside we were led to believe there was a bar and food but it is currently being reurbushed.」

「Good: The decoration of the room is cozy and in good classic style There is a bar on the ground floor which is good Staff are nice and friendly Bad: Strong smell in the bathroom which is disgusting, we think that comes from the eroding wood The water boiler is not clean and there is even water remain inside Being asked for the room key after check out but believe their staff mixed things up (Wrong number tag on the key)」

「Stayed at the White Lion before heading to Southampton the next day. Perfect stop over before joining our cruise. A really pleasant night, lovely meal, nice staff & a good breakfast. We’ll certainly be staying there again.」

「This property is on a street that is closed off to traffic. It is not listed clearly in the listing. It was difficult to get to via the transportation we had from Heathrow and we had to drag our bags from the street to the hotel. This is was for both the check in and check out. We were in town to catch a cruise. 」

「Very nice old property. Check in time rather late at 5pm instead of the usual 3pm. Friendly service. Young woman even carried our suitcases upstairs which was very welcome for an older couple like us.」

「Comfortable apartment with lift and free parking 」

「The apartment is in a great location and the info you receive is thorough. Make sure you ask for parking though as it is limited. The apartment was very clean. Our door lock came loose and they helped us within 30 minutes which was really good. The only negatives were that the windows are so thin in places you can hear the traffic and the mattresses were a bit firm for us but if we were in Southampton we would definitely book here again. Great customer service and the space is perfect. 」
