Mold in closet, carpet frayed at the end. No exhaust fan in the bath. Not enough parking when full. The breakfast was non existent. However, I would stay there again if I had to, the bed was fine and the room was unnecessary large with a sectional we never sat on. It was overpriced but less than the Winstar and Best Western due to a concert.

The hotel was clean and nice. And it’s primary purpose is cleary to serve the casino next-door. But, to that end, the hotel doesn’t offer any food other than a sort of minimal breakfast. The only food in the area outside of the casino is a Sonic restaurant next-door, otherwise you need to travel to Gainesville, Texas to find a restaurant outside of the casino. The purpose of my visit wasn’t to go to the casino, so it left me scrambling a little bit to find food options, as there is not really a grocery store nearby, either.

Kind of disappointed in this property first of all the red river inn is basically adjacent to the best western red river inn. The best western was the property I thought I was booking will stay there if I’m ever up there again. We have a service dog and first they said we couldn’t stay there I told them it was the law and the girl said she had to call owner/manager which she did and was told I had to show rabies card, called vet got card so they finally let us have the room after a half hour of going back and forth. Mind you the whole hotel had maybe 5 cars outside it basically empty it had no problem trying to not let me have the room. The other thing that happened was we got there a little after 2 after driving 400 plus miles and they wouldn’t let us in the room come back at 2:55. Asked the girl about rooms she said they were all ready but it was policy. Finally all that was settled room and property were ok. The girl had to be new so none of this is on her but management needs to get there act together as far as customer service goes. The last thing. The next day when I checked out and was packing the car the attendant came running up to me because he saw the dog on the cameras got on me why I had a dog there evidently they don’t communicate too well. I would give it 2 stars only because the property was nice and location to casino was superb. PS they’re idea of a breakfast needs a lot of work for paying a premium to stay I could have gone next door to best western and at

Everything was good, until we got to breakfast. The staff was very friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. But the next morning we went to breakfast, it was very lacking. It is always a good place to stay when I go to a concert at Winstar. All of the properties up there are way too expensive for one night considering they’re not five star hotels, but in general it’s my favorite place to stay. Staff is always very polite and helpful, the breakfast is good with the waffle maker, and typically it’s pretty quiet. The beds are pretty comfy too.

After reading several reviews, we were not sure what to expect. The hotel is fine. Nothing bad nothing great. Our king room was spacious. We appreciated the small fridge and microwave. The breakfast that many complained about seemed to be the fallout from COVID. Everything provided was prepackaged make it yourself grab and go. Our biggest issues were, they could not provide extra blankets. Not even for the pullout sofa. My husband and I have very different needs for air temp. And, unless I missed it in the hotel info, the free shuttle service was misleading. You get free shuttle service to the casino, but you have to get to the nearby Wingate Inn to get on and off. It was raining. We didn't want to walk that far to the other hotel in the rain. So, if I'm getting into may car to drive a half of a mile, might as well drive on to the casino. We normally enjoy walking, just not in the rain. We found the staff to be nice. Not overly friendly, but nice.

Gross. Body fluids on headboards, stained sheets pilllowcases, sticky floors, used towels in bathroom. Asked for new pillow cases. Both had stains. Nice enough folks, I don’t think ownership cares.

I got in the shower and there was no soap. This was a big issue for me. I was in a hurry and no soap. When I left, I told the front desk, and she said the soap dispenser wasn’t working yet, and the person who checked me in was supposed to give me a bar of soap. This was my big frustration of the trip. Hot shower, no soap.

This place is an 50 dollar a night hotel that charges 5 star prices just because of its proximity to WinStar. I get it. Location means alot... but if your gonna price gouge your customers then make the place look like you give a f*ck. Update the bedding, update the TVs, make the breakfast better. Charging $270 a night should get us a little more than corn flakes, and apple juice.
