The location, the property, the town every detail ! This was the most incredible property I have ever stayed in. It was a not only blissful but beautiful. Every detail was perfection.」

「We really enjoyed the cabin and would consider staying again as long as they add some different furniture. There needs to be a nice comfortable couch added. There is only one couch and a chair that is almost unusable and the couch is basically just for looks. We had 2 adults and 2 grown children there is definitely room for additional furniture. But the backyard right on the water is amazing and would be a wonderful place to visit in the summertime..And the tub was a huge hit with our boys.」

「3 sisters and husbands returned to Waupaca to honor our parents that recently passed away. We wanted a home base where we could rest, relax and rejuvenate after our days full of visits to our parents favorite spots and restaurants. This home was perfect in every way. 「We were 8 lovely ladies, stressed from work and family and life and Hickory Hills was the perfect place to rest and relax in each other’s company. The space is large enough for us to come together or to find a separate space to chill and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the lake. We loved the area and enjoyed shopping and had ice cream at Scoops. We love our time at Hickory Hills again and would absolutely rent again.」

「I rented this property for a week on the lake with my kids and grandchildren. It was able to accommodate the 9 of us comfortably. Plenty for the grandkids to do, although the tubing inflatables shown in the listing were not available. We rented the pontoon boat from the owner which was cheaper than renting from across the lake and was great for exploring the Chain O' Lakes. 「Cabin was very clean and modern, while keeping the log cabin feel. Owners have thought of everything, with little touches all over the place (seating by creek on trails, buckets to carry wood, life jackets for the boats, etc.). Offering the wood for purchase (honor system) was also a great perk. We caught many fish at the lake, saw all kinds of interesting animals (giant turtle, woodpeckers, owl). Truly a wonderful place!」

「Our family needed to come to town for a celebration of life for our friend’s son. Instead of us all getting hotel rooms out of town we stayed here. It was absolutely perfect for us all. 「Very easy check in/out process. Property had all the amenities to keep teenagers busy for a few days. Quiet and relaxing. Plenty of sleeping room for 16 people. Only suggestion- there were 5 bath towels and lots of beach towels so we just used those. Would definitely stay again.」
