Wonderful old turn-of-the-century hotel with lots of history. However, our room was an original, with rough cedar-paneled walls, dimly lit, and very cramped. Also, no bathroom had to use the common one down the hall. There are other more modern rooms available, just be sure you know what you're reserving.
Also, be aware, no TV, radio, WI-FI, etc. - it's very old school.
A musician performed every afternoon, either a violinist or a cellist, a very pleasant feature!
