Great place to stay. Close to main st, the ski ticket office, restaurants, and urgent care. Beautiful condo. All newly remodeled.

The property is in an excellent location. You can walk anywhere and the area is absolutely beautiful. Just beware that the town of Breckinridge does not enforce any type of sidewalk shoveling. We arrived during a snowstorm and the next couple of days the snow on the sidewalk compacted and eventually froze. Very hard to navigate but again the town of Breckinridge is beautiful. Staying at Der Steiermark was very convenient

It was OK but nothing special. It’s very outdated, the couch is so low to the floor and takes up all the room and the TV was so small you had to look up quite a bit to see it. The main bath on the main floor shower didn’t seem to be able to come on but the upstairs one was fine

Great location. Bedroom was on the courtyard where there is a light outside. Blinds only muted the light. Entries to courtyard rooms are dark, garbage area was disgusting. Mi casa restaurant and equipment rental in building were a big plus. Ski lift 100 yds from the room is sweet.

Just OK.
Good for the money. The pull out couch in the unit we stayed at (104) was broken and uncomfortable (understatement). Check in was clunky and difficult but the stay was fine. Location can’t be beat and the price was more than reasonable.

perfect location for chair 9 and town. very dated but usable for what we needed. I would say good place for two couples or couple with children but not 3 adult couples.Management was great to deal with. one other thing hot tub not really usable-it's small and in a weird location like you are on display.

While the condo is very dated you can’t beat the location. Minutes to everything you need and includes parking. Also, it can sleep 4 single adults in beds.

Great Location and Value!
Great location. Located above Mi Casa. Corner of Main and Park. Accommodations were great for the price.Staff were great. Apartment was a bit outdated but very clean. Could use black out curtains in bedroom. Our stay was in August. No air conditioning but there were a couple of fans. Only an issue in the bedroom, even then it was still not bad. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend for the budget conscience.

Value but not special
The condo itself is decent but had only three tiny nightstand drawers for storage. Located in a cramped commercial building shared with ski shops and a busy Mexican restaurant, it is not a hotel setting. However, it is reasonably located and good for value if you get it cheaply. Service is not to be expected.

What a great condo! It was clean and very nice. The location could not be any better, you literally walk across the street to the Quicksilver Super chairlift. It’s a great place.

You can't have better location. For travellers who want a place to enjoy what Breckenridge can offer this is it. The apartment we did get did have a spacious balcony with a beautiful Vista. Also well equiped for all thing you'll need for a long stay We even did a BBQ for the last day there

I liked the place! But there are a few things that I didn't like. They tried charging me $100 cleaning fee even though expedia already collected the fee! A fee things that needed to me fixed in the room and I let the hotel staff know right away. At the end of the day the hotel staff did what they could to make us feel comfortable and I was pleased!

Was a great time. Room is nice but has a few things broken...bathroom fan/light...several bulbs out(dark)...transition strip on bedroom floor doorway gone(nails exposed to step on). Need to put code for the elevator in the information packet(could not get to garage without code). Managers were friendly but information was conflicting about code to pickup keys. The view outside it incredible and the proximity to peak nine lift is great! I would rent it again!

Location Location Location! No better town access.
This is an original town condo setting. Park your car securely under the building (or don't have a car at all). Unit 1 overlooks the street and the shuttle bus stop so you feel the activity of the town. Great to have a real fireplace in the cozy living room (very cozy for more than 2). Take a large steamy drink (or tall cold one) out to the balcony to relax and watch the world go by. Enjoy watching the LARGE TV, crackling fire, and street action while fixing snacks or meals in the very gorgeous kitchen. Bathroom is equally lovely and updated. Bedroom has 2 windows which OPEN. You have a nice large closet and dresser. Lighting is varied and comfortable for reading in bed or dressing. Just use your rose-colored glasses when you transit the halls and lower regions where you must stash your trash. One other caution -- and recommendation has been given to Mgmt -- there is NO security latch or lock on the entry door. So bring your own device or check with Mgmt when you book. Der Steiermark is a fantastic location to explore and enjoy everything about Breckenridge. P.S. You can slip in the back door of the French Bakery within a minute -- yumm yumm.

Good location but a little beat up.
Really great location that is walking distance to the Peak 9 base area and is just around the corner from Main Street. Underground parking plus the first floor commercial spaces have a decent Mexican restaurant and 2 ski rental shops. We did not notice any noise coming from Main street or the restaurant but it was pretty late in the season so the town was not as busy as it might otherwise be during peak weekends. The only issues we had were that the showers were hard to get dialed in right on the hot water settings and the key to make the elevator go to the parking garage didn't work for us so we had to walk our gear around the outside of the building on checkout day. The interior was fairly dated and could use some polishing up but for the price for this location all of these minor complaints were well worth it. I would stay here again and I would recommend it to a friend if they were looking for affordable lodging that was easy walking distance to the lifts.
