「First I was surprised there was no wifi. But my daughter had wifi from her work that she brought so that worked. Couldn’t find a trash can in the kitchen. Text and called but no response. Then it was so dark in there. Not even a lightbulb in the nightstand lights. Even the bedrooms were dark. Plus there was a light over the bathroom sink. Could find a switch to make it come on. Cushions outside very worn and tattered. Other than that it was great. Nothing we couldn’t work around. Great location.」

「This cabin is tiny, but cozy. Everything we needed was there. We stayed here to be close to SIU for our granddaughter’s graduation. The drive to the school was easy. The setting on the lake was very pretty & peaceful. We were pleased to find we could bring our pup. He enjoyed his walks on the quiet road. The hosts are so very friendly & quick to answer all questions.」

「The cabin was great. It was clean, comfortable, and worked great for our needs. The drop down ladder/stairs to the loft were not an issue for our group. The kitchen had just what we needed to make breakfast and dinner. We basically only slept there because we explored all day. We did bbq and have a fire at night.」

「Very cute house and nice area to stay in. Enjoyed the lake and the dock my husband caught a 4 pound bass on a fly rod. He was extremely happy love that it was dog, friendly and easy for my old dog to walk the property overall a very pleasant experience.」

「We loved our stay at the Jaybird Treehouse! It was well maintained, clean, and super cute. The shower was amazing, the beds were super comfortable, and our teenager and their friend loved the trap door and "bunker" under the rest of the treehouse. The ice cream maker was such a nice touch! A couple things that I feel I should note... 1) the walk down to the lake is fairly steep, and is a boardwalk rather than stairs. For us it was ok, but if we had my elderly mother with us, she would not have...
